A first aid competition was held in ALMAZ Oilfield Service

In order to assess the readiness of ALMAZ Oilfield Service employees to provide first aid to injured, as well as to demonstrate techniques and skills for rescuing people, a competition was organized at the enterprise, including the solution of theoretical and practical tasks.

Employees of each ALMAZ Oilfield Service division took part in the competition.

The competition was held in two stages. At the first stage, the contestants answered theoretical questions on first aid in a form of a test. More than half of the participants showed excellent knowledge in theory.

The most illustrative was the second stage of the competition, where they demonstrated the solution of a specific situational problem – with the help of a robot simulator. The participants of the competition, first of all, having protected themselves and the injured from the effects of damaging factors, and second of all, after examining the injured and quickly assessing his/her condition, practiced the algorithm of resuscitation and other first aid techniques. And the most important thing is not to forget to call an ambulance and notify the immediate supervisor! As a result of the actions, most of the participants managed to "save" the robot simulator.

Members of the commission, which included: R. Tsylgan, Deputy General Director for HSE; I. Efremova, Lead Specialist of the Training Center, unanimously chose the winner, which was the Construction Metal Worker of the metalworking shop Evgeny Subbotkin.

The honorable 2nd place was taken by the Electric Rewinder of the Cable Manufacturing Section Oksana Belous.

3rd place was taken by Electrical Shop Electrician Andrey Kolesnikov.    

Based on the results of the competition, the winners and participants were awarded with memorable, valuable prizes and diplomas.
